Dear Foursquare Family,
First, we want to commend you on the way you have served, volunteered, engaged with others online, contacted and encouraged one another, sewed masks, delivered food and cd’s, gave generously and prayed endlessly. GREAT JOB CHURCH FAMILY! You have been unified in a time when even our culture and others cannot be on the same page. You have set aside personal preferences and opinions to care for the body as a whole. Well done!
We have been focussing and studying the early church in Acts since the beginning of the year. The early church selflessly cared and prayed for one another, gave generously, and met regularly. They actually met outside most of the time, rarely were they inside. It is no coincidence that the Lord led us to focus on this section of scripture at this exact time. The things we were led to focus on have been necessary for what we have been encountering.
As we have prayed and talked with the Church staff, council and elders this is the plan that seems right to us and to the Holy Spirit…
Details about our precautions and procedures for re-opening are following…
“Back on Track Guidelines”

12. Online virtual services will continue even after we begin opening up the building for “normal” services if you would prefer to watch remotely.

- We are having services in the church building. 1st service at 9AM is a masked service, everyone attending is required to wear a mask. If you do not have one, we will provide one for you. 2nd service at 11AM is mask optional. You can do what feels right to you.
- We will be having family services. This means that our kids will be sitting with their families during worship and then will be released for class. The Nursery and Toddler Rooms are parent supervised 1st service and are opened with teachers 2nd service.
- In order to facilitate social distancing we will have Kids and Youth on separate nights. Tuesday nights are Youth Group and Wednesday nights are DIVE.
- We understand that some may take a while to come back to meeting in the building with us. That is just fine. We will continue to livestream every week and you can join us there. Please do what you feel comfortable doing and in the time frame that works for you.
- We ask that you be supportive and considerate of one another, understand the guidelines set out by the CDC for churches and follow the procedures we have put in place as well.

“Back on Track Guidelines”
1. Ensure 6 feet individuals or family units of the same households during services:
- There will be no greeting time
- “Those who attend will be asked and directed to sit every other row with 6’ between any non-household member. Be flexible and find a safe place to sit, even if that means giving up where you “always” sit, and respect people’s boundaries”.
- We will close the sanctuary and bathrooms to clean them thoroughly in between services
- Hand sanitizing stations are available in the foyer and the back of the sanctuary.
- Staff and volunteers will be required to wear a face mask. We will provide masks if you want one but do not have one. Face masks are required for 1st service attendance but are optional for 2nd service.
- “If you consider attending, please meet all recommended health requirements to do so. Please do not come if you are sick or have been exposed to a person who has been recently sick. According to the CDC, a person must be fever-free for 72 hours and be 10 days past the first appearance of symptoms to no longer be considered contagious”.
- Feel free to greet one another with a “Hi” or “Hello” instead of a hug or handshake.
- Bulletins are available online at gotofoursquare.com.
- We will be distributing single serve wafers and juice for communion upon entering the building. A staff member will drop the communion cup in your hand to ensure no contact.
- We will not be passing an offering plate. We have provided drop boxes in the back of the sanctuary and in the foyer.
- An usher will dismiss you by row and you will be encouraged to maintain social distancing even after dismissal
- Please do not arrive more that 15 minutes prior to the service so that we have time to clean and the ability to practice social distancing
12. Online virtual services will continue even after we begin opening up the building for “normal” services if you would prefer to watch remotely.
